YSF Welcome
The 22nd FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF 2023)
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
These are difficult times for Europe and especially after the war broke out in Ukraine. In this scenario, FEBS has made the firm decision to continue supporting young molecular life scientists in Europe by organizing activities for them, including our renowned Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF).
Therefore, I warmly invite you to participate in a very special edition of the FEBS YSF: YSF 2023. YSF 2023 will be organized with the aim of bringing together outstanding PhD students and young postdocs from around Europe and promoting science as a tool for cohesion and progress in our societies. I hope that the words 'For a Better Future' in the logo will be quickly fulfilled in many aspects: the scientific ones, but also those related to peace in the world.
YSF 2023 will be held from July 6th to 8th, 2023, just ahead of and in conjunction with the 47th FEBS Congress. It will take place at Tours, a very historical and beautiful town between the Cher and Loire rivers in France.
The YSF 2023 meeting will bring together around 100 selected young researchers in biochemistry and molecular biology, who will be supported to attend by a YSF grant from FEBS that covers Congress registration, accommodation for both the YSF and FEBS Congress, and most travel expenses. Details on how to apply, including eligibility criteria, can be found on the YSF Applications page.
The YSF 2023 will provide a wonderful Forum for you to refresh your knowledge base and explore innovations in biochemical sciences. The Forum will offer plenty of networking opportunities, providing you a chance to meet and interact with leading researchers as well as scientists at similar early-career stages.
I hope you will join us and enjoy the experience in Tours. We are looking forward to receiving your application!
